Clean lenses - microfiber cloth in your sleeve
There is a special pocket in the left sleeve, with a flexible band and a metal clip. You can pinch a microfiber cloth here. This way you always have a cloth at hand to clean your lens or camera.

Thanks to the attachment, you can easily use the cloth even in strong winds and you no longer have to worry about losing it or wonder where you last put it. The answer is always: Left sleeve.
Battery & Co - equipment always at hand
A “small photo backpack” has been recreated on the left inside the jacket. Here you have small compartments at the top for e.g. memory cards, small batteries and USB sticks as well as two large pockets for additional batteries, mobile phone, power bank, wallet and everything else that you need space for.

Especially in winter it is an advantage if you carry your batteries and your smartphone in the pockets on your body and protect them from discharging with your body heat.

10.000MM WATER COLUMN & WELDED SEAMS
SHOOTING IN THE RAIN? NO PROBLEM!
At first glance, the functional rain jacket looks like a stylish parka that you can easily wear in everyday life.

In reality, however, it can do a lot more: Thanks to the special polyurethane material and the welded seams, the Haukland extreme rain jacket has a 10,000 water column and is wind and waterproof. Heavy rain has no chance.

Since the breathability of the jacket is significantly reduced by the welded seams, you can open the welded zips under the arms for ventilation during physical exertion.

11 pockets for your photo equipment & more
The Haukland extreme rain jacket has 11 pockets. By cleverly using the jacket, you can save space in your backpack or even leave the backpack at home or in your accommodation.
  • 2 large outer pockets for graduated filters, ND filters and Co. provide enough space to stow 150x100mm plug-in filters. There is also space for car keys or gloves. The pockets are also equipped with a press stud so that you don't loose anything.
  • 2 side pockets on the outside pockets. (Attention: Avoid contact with sharp objects that can damage the outer material.)
  • Inside there is a pocket at the top left for a slim wallet or smartphone.
  • There is also a “small photo backpack” with space for memory cards, batteries, power banks and the like. This area is reinforced on the outside with a waterproof film to provide additional protection for the electronic equipment. On the bodyside, the pockets are made of mesh, so you can always see exactly what is in which pocket.
  • The microfiber cloth pocket with elastic band and metal clip is on the left sleeve.

Welded YKK 2-way zipper
The cut of the Haukland extreme rain jacket is relatively long and, if chosen correctly, covers the trouser pockets and the bottom. This way you don't get wet so fast and you can lean or sit against wet rocks or other surfaces.

The welded YKK zipper can be opened in both directions. That way you are not restricted in your movement and you can also squat down comfortably.

Well thought-out details
Wind stoppers with thumb holes on the wrists prevent unnecessary heat loss in strong winds.

The hood of the Haukland extreme rain jacket is relatively tight-fitting when closed to protect against rain and wind. The front side is cut longer to “shield” the camera and viewfinder. You can make the hood even tighter with elastic bands.
